Roma v Torino, which took place on 14 September, marked a major change in terms of how fans can access the stadium, as AS Roma stopped sending tickets in PDF format.
Tickets are issued digitally, so that they can be uploaded to your smartphone wallet – as is the case, for example, with plane boarding tickets – or on the Il Mio Posto app.
There are mainly two reasons why this change was made: to embrace sustainability and fight against Secondary Ticketing, meaning any form of unauthorised reselling of tickets to matches at the stadium.

This practice exposes fans to the risk of fraud or purchasing fake tickets, as well as fuelling a parallel market that inevitably reduces the number of available tickets. Tickets to AS Roma matches can be purchased exclusively through the club’s official channels.
Thanks to the reports submitted through the dedicated form available for all fans and following the club’s constant monitoring activities, in September 2025 alone, AS Roma sent over 300 formal warnings to users who intended to resell their tickets on alternative platforms.
So here is what you are allowed to do with your ticket or season ticket:
You are not allowed to:
Following these simple rules is crucial to allow everyone to get the same chance to purchase a ticket and deter forms of ticket touting, which hurt the club and fans.
