Since its inception in 2017, Roma Esports has become a major player in the world of competitive gaming – with a host of successes in its short existence to date.
Roma Esports players have competed in tournaments all over the world, and against clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Ajax, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
In April 2018, the team became Gfinity Elite Series Season 3 champions, as they defeated UNILAD on their way to the title. In December 2018, they became the only team in Elite Series history to defend their title, becoming back-to-back champions in Season 4 of the Gfinity competition.
The team initially partnered with Fnatic, one of the leading organisations in esports, and two of its players went on to reach the semi-finals of the prestigious FIFA eClub World Cup in 2019.
In November 2020, the Giallorossi announced the launch of an official PES team - in collaboration with Italian esports organisation Mkers. The pro PES trio made up of Roksa, Kepa and Venom reached the semi-final stage of the eFootball.Pro competition in the team's first season in the event.
