Dybala delighted to get off the mark for Giallorossi

Paulo Dybala was the name on everyone's lips on Tuesday night, as he scored twice to propel Roma to a 3-0 win over Monza at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Giallorossi temporarily moved top of the Serie A table thanks to the result, with Dybala playing a pivotal role.

The Argentina international scored a brilliant opener to unlock the game for Jose Mourinho's side, before bundling home a second soon after to effectively kill off the contest.

That second was also his 100th goal in Serie A.

"I was eager to get a goal - luckily it came in front of our fans," Dybala said.

"I'm also delighted with the win because we are continuing to improve."

He added: "The spirit in the group is good, I think coming off the back of winning a trophy has been really important.

"But it's still too soon to talk about [targets]. I don't think we were the worst side after the last game and we are not the best side now either."
