Roma's Primavera side were thwarted in their ambitions of winning the national title on Tuesday evening, as they lost to Inter Milan after extra-time.
Despite eventually taking the lead through Javier Vicario in the second half, Alberto De Rossi's side conceded an equaliser that forced extra-time - before conceding a 98th-minute strike that ultimatley decided the game.
De Rossi's side went close on numerous occasions to scoring a goal that could have forced penalties, only to be denied.
After topping the league standings during the campaign and beating Juventus in the play-off semi-finals, the Under-19s came up just short of an almost-perfect season.
