Maracana's dream comes true!

In September 2025, Gaetano Giuffre – better known as 'Maracana' – expressed a wish: to watch his beloved Roma play at the Olimpico one more time.

Speaking to asroma.com, the famous Roma fan, originally from Patti, in Sicily, said: "Due to my illness, I've spent thousands of euros on tests and therapies. I'm disabled but I'd like to see Roma at the Olimpico one final time, instead of crying over watching the team on TV – the tears because I’m not able to be there, with the Roma fans, cheering on our team."
