After being named Man of the Match in the tournament opener, against Turkey, he was recognised once again after a performance that saw him provide the assist for Federico Chiesa's crucial opener.
"I'm delighted with the win, I think we played like a proper team once again," Spinazzola said.
"We defended as a group when we had. After 90 minutes we told ourselves that all we needed to do was improve the quality of the final pass and the goals would come - and in the end that is what happened in extra time."
