The new social media feed - @ASRoma_Brasil - will allow the club to directly engage with fans in both Brazil and Portugal and follows the official launch earlier this week of an Arabic AS Rome Twitter account.
AS Roma’s incredible popularity amongst football supporters in Brazil can be traced back decades to when the likes of Aldair, Falcao, Cerezo and Cafu lit up the Olimpico and the new account will allow the club to communicate on a daily basis with this passionate fanbase.
The launch of @ASRoma_Brasil means the club now communicates with fans around the world in eight different languages on a daily basis.
On Twitter, AS Roma now has six local-language accounts – Italian, English, Spanish, Indonesian, Arabic and Portuguese – with a Thai Facebook page and an official presence on Sina Weibo also servicing fans in Thailand and China respectively.
