AS Roma can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Spanish club Real Betis Balompié for the transfer of Toni Sanabria for a fee of €7.5 million.
AS Roma will also receive 50% of any future transfer fee should Sanabria, full name Arnaldo Antonio Sanabria Ayala, be sold by Betis.
The deal also includes a clause whereby AS Roma can re-sign Sanabria at any time in the next three seasons. The buy-back fee is set at €11m for the first two seasons and €14.5m for the third season.
The Paraguayan forward, who joined the Giallorossi in August 2014, made two appearances for Roma in his first season in Italy.
He then joined Sporting Gijon on loan for the entirety of the 2015-16 campaign, scoring 11 goals in 29 La Liga games for the Spanish side.
