Mancini revels in latest away triumph

Another clean sheet on the road for the Giallorossi on Sunday evening, as they beat Spezia 2-0 at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

Stephan El Shaarawy and Tammy Abraham scored either side of half-time for the Giallorossi, as Paulo Dybala provided both assists.

Here's what defender Gianluca Mancini had to say after the contest...

Three big points for you today - it's never easy to come here and win.

“Every team that comes here comes up against a tough atmosphere with a passionate crowd. But we approached the game in the right way, we kept it up throughout, and we got three important points."

You did not give much away defensively, once again...

“We're aware of what we are doing. We put in the hard work every day [to achieve that]. If we all do a good job of defending then, with the quality we have further forward, we are always going to find a goal. Today we got the first and then we got a second."

Is qualifying for the Champions League much easier now Juventus have been penalised 15 points?

“We are just focused on ourselves and taking things game by game. We aren't interested in what other sides are up to - we just want to pick up as many points as possible."

What have the squad made of Nicolo Zaniolo's decision not to be part of the squad today?

“There are certain things that are up to the club. We focus on the pitch, on training hard, on doing our best for Roma."

Will he continue to be part of the squad?

“Yes, he's one of us. We will focus on training hard. We want to go out over the next few games and keep bringing home points."
