Antonio Satriano (2), Claudio Cassano, Luigi Cherubini and Riccardo Pagano scored the goals for Guidi's team.

"I am really pleased with the what the lads have done today, especially considering the opposition drew with Paris Saint-Germain [in the UEFA Youth League] recently," the coach said.

"The scoreline is the reward for a top-quality display, with a lot of players performing really well.

"There is still a long way for us to go, this was just another step on the path for us - but we took that step really well."

Roma now sit on 29 points from the opening 12 games over the season, five clear of the Bianconeri in second play.
