In the one-off tie in Florence, Alberto De Rossi's league leaders took the lead early on but could find no further response as they were soon pegged back - before the hosts ran away with the tie.

Joel Voelkerling Persson scored the opener after four minutes and Antonio Satriano also got himself on the scoresheet late on, but they proved mere consolations as Alessandro Bianco (2) and Eljon Toci (3) grabbed the goals for La Viola.

"We are in a bit of a tougher moment right now," said De Rossi.

"The boys know that, they know things aren't going as well as they could be right now. But they tried to fight against that and work through the issues.

"Nevertheless, it's hard to understand some of the goals we conceded. But sometimes when you are going through a difficult spell luck and circumstance goes against you a bit as well."
