    Match Pack: Coppa Italia Final

Defending their Coppa Italia crown has been one of the targets for Roma Women all season - and, on Sunday, they will have the chance to complete that quest.

The task in front of them, however, is a formidable: they face five-time league champions Juventus at Ferrara's Stadio Paolo Mazza.

The game gets underway at 14:15 CEST.

    Form Guide

Roma have won 23 games in all competitions already this season - fully eight more than they managed last season. They finished with 54 points from a possible 66 in Serie A - a new record for the side by some distance.

Nevertheless that was not enough to catch Juventus, who won the league by five points. The Bianconere have won their last five games in a row in all competitions.

In the league this season, Juventus won 2-1 in Rome while the return meeting in Turin ended in a 1-1 draw.

Last season, the Giallorosse beat Juventus in the semi-finals to reach the final - ultimately edging AC Milan out on penalties.

    Juventus vs Roma

The two sides are facing each other for the 11th time, with Juventus having avoided defeat in nine of the previous meetings (eight wins, one draw). That one defeat came in last year's Coppa Italia, a 2-1 semi-final first leg defeat that ultimately enabled the Giallorosse to progress to the final.

This will be Roma's second-ever major cup final, after the win over AC Milan on 30 May last year (0-0 after extra-time, Roma won on penalties).

Juventus, meanwhile, will be playing in their sixth final in the last four seasons - considering both the Coppa Italia (one previous final) and Supercoppa (three finals - all won).

The Bianconere can win their 10th major trophy in their history on Sunday afternoon.

Juventus have conceded six goals in their last five meetings with Roma, having only conceded two goals in the five meetings prior to that.

Juventus (16) and Roma (15) scored more goals from set-pieces than any other side in Serie A this season. Juventus are yet to concede from a deadball situation, however, whereas Roma have conceded nine times through that method.

Roma (62.7%) and Juventus (59.3%) are first and second for most possession of the ball over the course of the current league season.

    Roma Focus

Paloma Lázaro is one of two players, along with Annamaria Serturini, to have scored against Juventus in two different competitions (Coppa Italia and Serie A).

Andressa Alves is the club's top goalscorer in the Coppa Italia - with eight goals to her credit (seven of which have come in away games). Overall, only Serturini (36) and Lazaro (24) have scored more than the Brazilian's 22 goals for the club.

Valeria Pirone and Paloma Làzaro are Roma's top goalscorers in the competition this season (three goals each).

    Focus on the Opposition

Cristiana Girelli has scored more goals against Roma than any other Juventus player: five goals, in three different competitions (league, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa). She has yet to score against the Giallorossi this season, however.

Girelli (19 goals) is also the club's top goalscorer this season. Andrea Stasková and Arianna Caruso have both scored 16 goals in all competitions.

Lisa Boattin has scored eight goals for Juventus this season - double what she has managed in any of her four previous seasons with the club.

    Familiar Faces on Each Side

Benedetta Glionna has represented both sides in this final - having scored 19 goals for Juventus across two seasons at the club between 2017 and 2019.

Agnese Bonfantini, meanwhile, has scored 11 goals this season for Juventus - she managed 16 across three seasons for Roma between 2018 and 2021.

    Referee

Sarà Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi (Livorno) will take charge of Sunday's game.

She has previously officiated four Roma matches, three of which the Giallorosse won. The defeat actually came against Juventus, in a 4-1 away defeat last season.

Ferrieri Caputi was also the fourth official for last season's Coppa Italia final.
