Roma to support Di Giannantonio throughout the MotoGP season!

The Giallorossi have entered into a partnership with the Gresini Racing rider - and Roma supporter - who will now continue to ride his Ducati throughout the campaign while wearing a famous icon from the club he loves the most.

From Qatar to Valencia and Japan to Argentina, at every Grand Prix this season the rider known to many as 'Diggia' will now carry the famous Lupetto - designed by Pierre Gratton - on the back of his helmet.

Fabio's passion for the Giallorossi colours is in fact only matched by that for two-wheel racing, both of which he inherited from his father, Ivan.

Now these passions have come together in a collaboration that will see him not only as a true ambassador of the Club in the world of MotoGP, but also linking up with Giallorossi players for events and other opportunities.

"I've loved AS Roma for as long as I've loved motorbikes, so practically forever," Di Giannantonio said.

"Every time I get the chance to go to the Stadio Olimpico to watch the team love I run there, but obviously the Moto GP calendar doesn't allow me to support too often from the stands.

"Now I can proudly carry the team with me all the time!"

Fabio is making his MotoGP debut this year with Team Gresini's Ducati, but the 23-year-old from Rome, who has already been runner-up in Moto3, is aiming for the title of rookie of the year.

His story in the world motorbikes goes way back, from the Italian Minimoto Championship when he was only 10 years old. Diggia was PreMoto3 Italian Champion and in 2016 made his MotoGP debut in one of the lower classes, bringing home three podiums and finishing 6th overall.

The next three seasons contained plenty of successes for the Roman rider, including the Rookie of the Year title obtained in Valencia.

In 2021 he won the all-important Jerez Grand Prix, in addition to the three podiums that allowed him to grab the dream of moving to MotoGP™ in 2022.
