Thaisa Moreno completed her move to Roma Women on Wednesday - and as a result is in line to become just the second Brazilian player to represent the Giallorosse.
The 32-year-old, born in Parana in the south of Brazil, joins the club from European titans Real Madrid. We've rounded up a few more details about the new figure in Alessandro Spugna's midfield...

Thaisa cultivated a passion for football while she was studying in the United States; first she played while at Feather River College in California, before transferring to Florida International University in Miami.
In 2011 she began her professional career back in her homeland, although she split her time between that and opportunities in Europe - turning out for Tyreso in the Swedish league and Grindavik in Iceland during the same period.
After a stint at Sky Blue (now Gotham FC) back in the United States, Thaisa made the move to AC Milan in the summer of 2018. She spent one season with the Rossonere, before moving to Madrid.
A familiar face with the Brazil squad, Thaisa has made 86 appearances for her country to date - scoring five goals. She made her international debut back in September 2013, in a narrow defeat against New Zealand.
Her first goal came that same year against Chile, while she has gone on to represent her country at both the 2015 and 2019 Women's World Cups.
2014: Winner of the South American Championship with Brazil.
2015: Won a gold medal at the Panamerican Games with Brazil.
2018: Winner of the South American Championship with Brazil.
A central midfielder, Thaisa is predominantly a deep-lying playmaker - although she is capable of playing in various roles across that central line.
With a wealth of experience behind her, she is equally comfortable operating when out of possession to win the ball back as she is starting attacking moves from deep.
With a strong right foot, she also offers a threat with shots from distance.
This will not be Thaisa's first experience in Serie A. During her season with AC Milan she made a total of 19 appearances, scoring three goals.
In Madrid, meanwhile, she made 37 appearances over two seasons - scoring two goals.
Thaisa Moreno was actually awarded with the best goal of Serie A during the 2018-19 season - after she scored a rocket in a 3-0 win over Juventus that season.
Thaisa Moreno is on Instagram, where she has almost 225,000 followers.
