Bryan Cristante was a second half substitute as Italy made it three wins from three at Euro 2020 on Sunday afternoon.
The Azzurri cruised into the knockout phase of the competition with a 1-0 win over Wales, as Cristante came on for the final 15 minutes.
It was his third appearance of the tournament, as club teammate Leonardo Spinazzola received a well-earned rest after two star turns in the opening two group games.
With Italy winning Group A as a result, Roberto Mancini's side will now head to Wembley for their last-16 match on June 26.
