Giada Greggi's return to action was one of the positive points from Roma Women's 1-1 draw with Florentia on Sunday afternoon.
Greggi, 21, came on as a second half substitute to make her first appearance in over seven months, after suffering a serious knee injury.
The Italy international returns just in time to press her case for involvement in the Coppa Italia final - with two league games to go in order to demonstrate her fitness.
"I'm delighted to be back, and back playing with my teammates again," Greggi said.
"We had a lot of chances, in both halves. We didn't make the most of them, but that can happen in football."
She added: "We are making great progress overall. There's a bit of tiredness among the group, but we are preparing for the final as best we can, studying the way AC Milan like to play and all the key details."
