With March 15 being the National Eating Disorder Awareness Day in Italy, the Italy international joined students from the Karol Wojtyla Comprehensive School to discuss the topic with them.
Linari joined 20 students from second year, supporting the recent 'Never Give Up' campaign.
"We can never really know what is going on with another member of our class, or any child we see across from us," Linari said.
"That's why I think it is always best to have respect for people and, before we question them or say something, try to understand their story. Unfortunately it can happen that even one word, said the wrong way or in the wrong moment, can have major consequences - leading people towards difficulties, including eating disorders.
"We need to always have respect for others, on the pitch and in life."
As part of the current initiative, Roma Cares will donate tablet computers to all those institutions involved - in order to help students continue with distance learning during the ongoing pandemic.
Since last year, the 'A Scuola di Tifo' ('A School for Fans') project has been operating in memory of Willy Monteiro, the 21-year-old who was killed in an unprovoked attack in Colleferro, just outside Rome.
