Roma Women midfielder Giada Greggi is to undergo surgery this week, after she suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during Saturday's win over Verona.
Greggi, a full Italy international, suffered the injury to her right knee during the game, after coming on as a late substitute.
The 20-year-old, Italian newspaper Tuttosport's reigning Best Young Player in Italy, will undergo surgery and then begin a rehabilitiation plan.
