Lindsey Thomas becomes latest Roma Women signing

Roma Women are delighted to announce the signing of French forward Lindsey Thomas ahead of the new season.

The 24-year-old becomes the club’s eighth addition of the summer, following the arrivals of Kaja Erzen, Andressa Alves, Amalie Thestrup, Manuela Giugliano, Andrine Hegerberg, Camelia Ceasar and Tecla Pettenuzzo.

Thomas spent last season at French club Dijon, scoring four goals in 22 games for the club.

“I am absolutely delighted to be able to tell you all I am a new Roma player,” Thomas said.

“I cannot wait to get started!”

She previously represented both Bordeaux and Montpellier in the French top flight.

Thomas has represented France at Under-19, Under-20 and B team level, winning the European Under-19 Championship in 2013 and finishing third at the Under-20 World Cup a year later.

Betty Bavagnoli’s Giallorosse side finished fourth in Serie A last season, the club’s first-ever campaign in professional women’s football.

    Welcome to Roma, Lindsey!
