Roma Women midfielder Claudia Ciccotti has begun a rehabilitiation programme, after medical exams revealed evidence of a sprain to the medial collateral ligament in her right knee.
Ciccotti suffered the injury during the closing minutes of Wednesday's 6-3 Coppa Italia quarter-final first leg victory over Roma CF.
The Italian has been an almost ever-present for coach Betty Bavagnoli's side this season, also chipping in with a number of goals.
