Roma confirm Lucas Digne squad number

Digne, who has won eight senior caps for France, is Roma's seventh new arrival of the summer, following the capture of Iago Falque, Wojciech Szczesny, Edin Džeko, Mohamed Salah, Antonio Rüdiger and Norbert Gyomber.

Lucas, who wore the No.21 shirt at Paris Saint-Germain, has elected to wear the same shirt number he played in during his time with Lille from 2011 and 2013.

The No.3 shirt was worn by club legends Sergio Andreoli (1941-42), Pietro Vierchowod (1982-83) and Antonio Carlos Zago (2000-01) during Roma's Scudetto-winning campaigns. Two members of the the AS Roma Hall of Fame - Giacomo Losi and Francesco Rocca – also famously wore the No.3 shirt.
