In the second-last game of the regular season, Alessandro Toti's Allievi Nazionali side overcame the Sicilians thanks to goals by Lorenzo Valeau, Riccardo Cappa and Andrea Marcucci. The Giallorossi were already sure of their place in the Final Eight having long since wrapped up top spot in Group C.
Meanwhile the Allievi Nazionali Lega Pro team were held to a 1-1 draw by Teramo, a result that leaves them in second place behind Lupa Roma. However, the Giallorossi U16s could move to the top if they win their game in hand.
Having already sealed first place in Group F, the Giovanissimi Nazionali Under-15s suffered an inconsequential 2-1 defeat at second-placed Frosinone in the final week of the regular season. Valerio D'Andrea's boys now face a last-16 tie before they can qualify for the Final Eight.
Elsewhere the other academy sides recorded three away wins and a loss over the weekend.
The Pulcini 2005s went down 3-2 against Nuovo Tor Tre Teste while the Giovanissimi Regionali U14s edged Fortitudo 0-1, the Esordienti 2004s defeated Consavlo 1-3 and the Pulcini 2006s beat Trigoria 0-13.
