Mario Rui underwent arthroscopic surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on Friday
The operation went as planned and Mario Rui will begin his rehab immediately.
The Portuguese left-back, who joined Roma in July after three seasons at Empoli, picked up the injury in a training session during the Giallorossi’s summer tour of North America.
