Loan Watch: Skorupski with yet another clean sheet

skor

We look at how the Giallorossi players currently out on loan got on last week...

Goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski earned his second consecutive clean sheet in Empoli’s 0-0 draw with Chievo Verona on Sunday; he now has three clean sheets in seven appearances this season.

The Polish international made only two saves against Chievo Verona, but they were crucial. Skorupski stopped a stinging free kick from Chievo’s veteran forward Antonio Floro Flores in the opening minutes of the match before making a goal line save shortly after.

Chievo centre-back Alessandro Gamberini thought he had scored a goal after a towering header from just a few yards out, but Skorupski had the quick reflexes to make the save, which was verified using goal line technology.
