Alfred Schaffer and Herbert Prohaska are both title winners with Roma, having helped the Giallorossi to the 1942 and 1983 Scudetti respectively. Schaffer was the manager of the Giallorossi for their first Scudetto win, while Prohaska was a key midfielder for Nils Liedholm’s champions in 1982-83. Both men represented Austria Wien as players, with both later returning to the club as coach.

Roma will be looking to secure a second successive Europa League win when they play Austria Wien on Thursday night, having defeated Astra Giurgiu 4-0 last time out. The Giallorossi haven’t won two consecutive games in Europe since November 2010, when they beat Basel 3-2 away on 3 November before following it up with a 3-2 win over Bayern Munich 20 days later. Both games were in the Champions League group stages.
