On Tuesday afternoon Bruno Peres became the latest Roma player to answer your questions live on Facebook.

See what he had to say about his life in Rome, his teammates at the club, and his favourite films and interests in the transcript below...

Interviewer: What's Rome like and do you like living here?

Bruno Peres: “I'm very happy in Rome. It's a beautiful city and the people are really friendly, rather like in Sao Paulo. It's similar to Brazil. I'm loving it here. It's warmer than in Turin too. I've got these heavy coats I bought when I was at Torino but I haven't needed to wear any of them here yet. I'll have to give them away because they're just gathering dust here!”

What do you miss about Brazil and your home town Sao Paulo?

“What I miss most about Brazil, apart from my son, is the food. It's so nice! Especially the meat, which we call picanha – I really miss that. It's hard to find really good meat exactly like the kind we have in Brazil here.”

What's your relationship like with the coach and the other players?

“I get on well with everyone, both the coach and my team-mates. Obviously I tend to hang around with the other Brazilians a bit more. We share the same music tastes and we like to joke around together. We have a fantastic group of players here so there's really not much to say. Speaking and understanding the language helped me settle in too – it's one less thing to worry about.”

Who's the craziest player at Roma?

“There are quite a few of them to be fair and I'd add myself to the list, but I'd rather not name names or they might get offended!”

Who was your idol when you were a kid?

“Ronaldinho was one and another was Ronaldo. I grew up watching him play and I always thought he was just amazing. I think he's one of those players who really left his mark on history, and not just in football - certainly in Brazil. He was a top, top, top player.”

Giacomo asks if he should pick you in his fantasy football team next weekend...

“I'm not sure about the answer to that one – he should ask the gaffer really. I don't know if he'll pick me but if he does I'll try and get you a few points!”

We also have Ribo, who presumably was playing against someone who had you in their fantasy football team because his question is: 'Why did you have to go and score against Palermo last weekend?!'

“Well, Ribo, I'm sorry for you mate, but scoring was great for me personally!”

Do you get on with El Shaarawy and Paredes?

“Stephan and Leo are both great guys and we get on really well, although there's a bit of ribbing with Leo because he's from Argentina... We spend loads of time together and they're both smashing lads.”

What's your favourite Italian dish?

“Like Alisson, I love carbonara. It's a bit heavy on the stomach but I love it. I normally have it at least a couple of times a week – not so much at the moment because we have lots of midweek games, but when I can I love to dig in to a plate of carbonara.”

If you could choose a superpower to use on the pitch, which would it be?

“I guess I'd like to have super-human strength like Hulk – the green guy I mean, not the one who plays for Zenit! Mind you, he doesn't mess around either...”

Which is your favourite team, apart from Roma?

“Santos, the team I used to play for. I still have lots of friends there. It's my home team, shall we say, and you never stop supporting them.”

What's your favourite film?

“I really like the Fast and Furious series. I'm looking forward to the eighth one, which is coming out in April, I think.”

If you hadn't been a footballer, what would you have liked to do?

“I don't know really. Perhaps I'd have become a fitness coach or something like that – then I could have made that lot do all the running! I think I'd have liked to work in football anyway because everyone loves football in Brazil. You grow up with it – people do all over the world I guess, but even more so in Brazil. When a woman is pregnant and you find out it's a boy, the dad goes and brings over a ball because he wants him to grow up with it!”

Tell us about this pre-match jig you've got going with [Antonio] Rudiger?

“We often listen to music together and he loves dancing. It started out as a way of greeting each other in the dressing room. We'd say hello and do that little move. Now we do it before the match, or if I score or if he does. It all started out of nothing though. It just happened.”

Do you drink mate?

“I do, but it's not something I drink all the time. It's more Alisson's thing or Paredes'. Momo [Salah] has acquired a bit of a taste for it too now... My dad loves the stuff because it's really big where he comes from in Brazil. Like Alisson. They take it with them everywhere they go. My dad says, 'You're no son of mine if you don't drink mate', but it just doesn't do anything for me. Each to their own, I guess.”

Answer this one straight up: Maicon or Cafu?

“Both! I really couldn't say. Apart from the fact that I know them and get on with both, they're role models for me – two superb footballers.”

Is there a part of Rome you like most?

“I love the Colosseum. It's right at the heart of Rome too.”

What's your favourite TV series?

“I like Prison Break and I think there's a new series coming out. That's one I like. I try to watch it whenever I can.”

What about music?

“I listen to a bit of everything really. Italian music too. In Brazil we like fast music – something you can dance to, but I don't just listen to South American stuff. I listen to all sorts.”

Do you like video games? Do you choose Roma when you play?

“I play a lot of FIFA and I normally choose Barcelona, but when I play against my brother I always pick Roma. I take [Edin] Dzeko out and put Bruno Peres up front so I can rub it in even more when I score!”
