David Pizarro, a two-time Coppa Italia winner during his time with the Giallorossi, received a warm welcome from staff and former teammates when he dropped in on training on Wednesday.
The Chile international, who joined Roma in 2006 and spent six years at the club, was a special guest at Trigoria on Wednesday, where he caught up with coach Luciano Spalletti and old friends Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi.
Edin Dzeko, who played alongside Pizarro for a brief period at Manchester City, was also delighted to see the 37-year-old.
