Loan Watch: Iturbe ends goalscoring drought to earn Torino a point

Winger Juan Manuel Iturbe was substituted on in the 73rd minute of Torino’s game against Sampdoria on Saturday, scoring with a powerful shot from the middle of the box minutes after his arrival.

The goal was his first in Serie A for two years, and was enough to help his side claim a point against the Blucerchiati.

He now has one goal and three assists in 12 league appearances for Torino this season. Iturbe’s next league match is Saturday against Juventus in the city derby.
