Defender Antonio Rudiger played all 90 minutes as Germany clinched the Confederations Cup with a 1-0 victory over Chile in Russia on Sunday evening.

Germany forward Lars Stindl scored the only goal of the game on the 20-minute mark, as Joachim Loew's side held on to secure victory in the international tournament.

Rudiger played four times in the tournament, including both knockout victories as the reigning World Cup champions added another trophy to their collection.

Earlier in the day, Hector Moreno and Mexico were on the losing side of the third-place play-off - as they went down 2-1 (after extra-time) to Portugal.
