Roma Cares: Romolo hands out gifts at shelter in Ciampino

He started as he means to go on earlier this week, as he - supported by Roma Cares - visited 'Il Chicco' care centre in Ciampino to meet residents and hand out presents.

Thanks to assistance from Leroy Merlin, Roma Cares were also able to deliver a specially-decorated tree to the centre; before Romolo began handing out gifts and chocolates to those there.

At 'Il Chicco' the staff take care of individuals with cognitive or motor function disabilities, living alongside volunteers and other assistants from all parts of the world.

The centre provides activities ranging from yoga and judo to ceramics and swimming, enabling residents to pursue their passions and develop their skills in various spheres.
