Pettenuzzo becomes latest player to extend stay

Pettenuzzo, 21, has signed a new two-year deal with the Giallorosse that runs until 30 June 2023.

The centre-back joined the club from Sassuolo in the summer of 2019, going on to help the team win the Coppa Italia earlier this year.

“Nothing has been lacking for me in my time with Roma – the club has always be ready to work hard to improve the squad and help us improve as players,” Pettenuzzo said.

“Over and above that, I’ve decided to renew my contract because the team and the fans have helped me fall in love with this club and this city. I am ready for us to face new challenges together!”
