Gallery: Primavera exit play-offs despite resilient display

Alberto De Rossi's Under-19 side lost out after two goals from Cortinovis for the Bergamo side - the second of them coming in the 87th minute.

Winger Nicola Zalewski had equalised in the 67th minute as the Giallorossi seemed to be growing into the game, but they had no response for a late hammer blow.

"We missed a few chances," De Rossi said afterwards.

"There is a lot of regret about the result - but not about the performance, which was good."

The coach added: "The game today was a snapshot of the season. For large parts of it we put in great performances, but we let the opponents take their chances. But nevertheless it has been an exceptional season. A number of players have made their first-team debuts and we are proud of that."
