The participating teams:

  • Ajax
  • Bayern Monaco
  • Benfica
  • Manchester City
  • Manchester United
  • Paris Saint-Germain
  • Roma
  • Rosengard

Kelley O’Hara, W7F Player Advisory Council member, shared: “It is so exciting to finally announce the final four teams joining our inaugural World Sevens Football tournament, kicking off in just a few short weeks. These top-tier clubs are setting the tone for what’s to come, and I can't wait to see their players take the pitch for what promises to be really supercharged and competitive football. Having them on board is a huge statement, and the best part is we're just getting started!”.

The format

Each match, played on half of a standard pitch, will last 30 minutes, split into two halves of 15 minutes. The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four. Group stage matches will be held on 21 and 22 May, while the top two teams from each group will face off in the semi-finals on 23 May, with the winners advancing to the final.

Tickets and TV

Matches will be streamed on DAZN. Tickets to attend the tournament are available on the World Sevens Football website.
