Medical update: Pau Lopez

The club’s medical staff have issued the following update about the condition of goalkeeper Pau Lopez:

AS Roma can confirm that Pau Lopez underwent surgery on his left shoulder on Saturday, following the dislocation he suffered during the team's Europa League match on April 29.

The procedure, undertaken at Villa Stuart, was completed by Professor Alessandro Castagna in the presence of club doctor Vincenzo Costa.

Surgery was successful and the player’s recovery will be monitored over the coming weeks.
