Roma Women make Banusic addition

Banusic, 25, joins the club after a recent spell at French side Montpellier – and will wear the No. 9 shirt for Betty Bavagnoli’s side.

The striker has also represented the likes of Chelsea, Linkoppings and Beijing during her career to date.

“I chose Roma because of the history of the club. It was an easy choice for me,” Banusic said.

“I want to have fun, I want to win and I want to become a better football player - both individually and as a team player.

“I am very excited to start with the team.”

In her career to date, Banusic has won league titles in both Sweden and England, while she has picked up seven caps for her country.

She has signed a contract with the club that runs until the end of the current campaign.
