Roma Women players Claudia Ciccotti and Lindsey Thomas joined the boys and girls from the team for the occasion, entertaining and playing with them at their own game.
Club mascot Romolo was also on hand, taking his turn in goal - and trying to save penalties from all the guests.
The event was yet another among the club’s Christmas initiatives, which has seen Roma Cares aim to offer support and assistance to some of the organisations working harder than ever during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
The club has been supporting ASDD Roma 2000, the specialist club for blind or limited-sight children who want to play football, for a number of seasons now.
In recent days the club has been at hospitals, shelters, family homes and churches around the city of Rome, offering support and tangible assistance to some of the most in-need during the current health crisis.
