The Italy international, 21, underwent a procedure in Innsbruck, Austria to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee - after suffering the injury while on national team duty earlier in the week.
The operation was a success and, while Zaniolo will remain in Austria for the next few days in order to be monitored, the player already had his eyes on his recovery.
