The renewed agreement, which runs until 30 June 2023, will ensure the ongoing collaboration with ITA Sports Academy LLC – a partnership that saw the launch of the club’s first official academy in the Middle East back in 2015.
“We are grateful to AS Roma for the confidence they have shown us,” said Alessandro Pelosi, the academy’s director alongside Valerio Garbini.
“We are really pleased to have sign this new three-year agreement with the club. This is testament to our great relationship with Roma, both in terms of the training programmes we have in place and the opportunity we provide to kids in the United Arab Emirates to be part of our football school.
“Continuing this academy project, especially during such a trying period for everyone, is a boost for all of us.”

“This agreement allows us to give continuity to our training programmes in the region and help those involved both as players and as people – allowing thousands of young players to share in the know-how and philosophy that has always helped the club’s youth sector stand out.”
Academy activities in the region will restart from Sunday 13 September.

“We have a staff made up of European coaches who bring with them the ideas and the methods used by Roma.
“The link with Roma will now be stronger than ever, and we hope to be able to uncover and develop new talent that will be seen by those at Trigoria – and, who knows, maybe offer them great opportunities in the future.”
