Ex-Roma players among candidates for France Football's 'Dream Team'

French magazine France Football has embarked on a process to identify the 11 greatest players in football history - and a number of ex-Roma players have already been nominated.

The magazine, which usually awards the Ballon d'Or each year, will this year instead attempt to identify the 'Ballon d'Or Dream Team' - with a jury made up of 170 journalists from around the world going position-by-position to come up with their all-time side.

Among the candidates for consideration are five ex-Roma players. They are: Cafu, Paulo Roberto Falcao, Pep Guardiola, Juan Alberto Schiaffino and Francesco Totti.

With the candidates in forward positions still to be announced (Totti has been included among the attacking midfielders), further Giallorossi names may yet join the list.
