First half goals from Jordan Veretout, Justin Kluivert and Edin Dzeko secured a comfortable - and vital - victory for the Giallorossi.
Are you pleased with the win on the road?
"Yes, it was very important to win here today against a strong side whose only recent loss came against us at the Stadio Olimpico. We had a very good first half and managed to control the game in the second half. We maybe didn't do a good job throughout, but I'm pleased."
Does it hurt to think about the fact that Roma would be top of the group right now had it not been for a few incidents?
"We have to win our next game. We'll have time to think about Wolfsburg, but now we need to turn our attention towards Verona, which will be a very tough match next time out."
Justin Kluivert seems to be on the up. He played closer to Edin Dzeko this evening.
"He's in good form. He's improved a lot defensively as well. He works hard for the team and is free to roam around when we're on the attack. When we go forward, he does need to find more space, but he did have a good game."
Could we say the performance showed how mature the team is in terms of focus and game management?
"Yes, it's true that we did manage the game well. What matters to me, however, is the team's attitude. In this regard, we showed real bravery and the right level of ambition."
How important is Dzeko's role in terms of helping the team in midfield?
"You need to strike the right balance in that regard. Edin put in an important shift for the team. He's scored twice in our last two games, so I'm pleased because he's a player who works very hard for the side."
