AS Roma part company with Massimo Tarantino

AS Roma and Head of Youth Sector Massimo Tarantino have today officially ended their professional relationship

The club would like to thank Massimo for his work during his time at Roma and wish him every success in the future.

Tarantino, who made over 200 Serie A appearances as a defender for nine clubs including Napoli, Bologna and Inter during a 20-year playing, joined the AS Roma backroom staff in July 2013.

“On behalf of myself and everyone at AS Roma, I’d like to thank Massimo for his work and his commitment,” said club chief executive Guido Fienga. "Massimo always conducted himself with great dignity and professionalism during his time with Roma and we all wish him the best for his future endeavours."

Tarantino told asroma.com: "I would like to thank President Pallotta and all the directors that have supported me and assisted me during my time at the club. Naturally, I would also like to thank all the coaches and the youngsters in the academy. I wish Roma the very best for the future and I hope that our young players go on to realise all their dreams and ambitions."
