Serturini, 21, was one of the Giallorosse goalscorers as they drew 2-2 with Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday – in a high-profile friendly at Stadio Tre Fontane that saw over 1100 spectators attend.
With the new season fast approaching, Serturini believes Betty Bavagnoli’s side will continue to win over new fans with their approach.
“How can we continue to win over fans? By continuing to play exciting football,” Serturini said.
“It’s a bit of a cliché but the fans can be our 12th player out on the pitch. When I scored on Sunday I heard an incredible roar.”
On the women’s game in general, she added: “We are ready to go fully professional [in Italy]. We cannot allow things to take a step back now. It’s what we are missing to make that final step up in quality and compete with the best in Europe.”
