The Giallorosse, facing the bottom-of-the-table side for the third time this season, took a first half lead through Luisa Pugnali – and looked to be flying to victory when Vanessa Bernauer converted from the penalty spot to make it 3-0 midway through the second half.
But Orobica fought back to make it 3-2 with 10 minutes remaining, setting up a nervy finish for Betty Bavagnoli’s side.
“We made it complicated for ourselves,” Pugnali admitted afterwards.
“But the important thing is we won, and took the three points. So we have to be happy with that.
“I am happy with my goal, especially as it unlocked the game and got us going. As a forward it is always important to score, so I’m happy with that.”

The result means Roma Women remain comfortably ensconced in the top four in Serie A – and go into Wednesday’s Coppa Italia quarter-final second leg against Roma CF having won their last two games in a row.
Elisa Bartoli got the game’s other goal for the Giallorosse, showing impressive skill and technique to flick up and then score with a bicycle kick from inside the box.
“It was a very tough game for us,” Bavagnoli said.
“Towards the end we didn’t really close the game out as we should, we didn’t keep our shape and we gave up chances and dangerous moments. But the girls stayed strong at 3-2 and saw the result through – so they did well in that regard.”
