International: Firsts for Serturini and Bonfantini in Cyprus!

Friday proved to be a landmark day for two Roma Women players - as Annamaria Serturini scored her first-ever goal for Italy, while teammate Agnese Bonfantini made her senior international debut.

After an emphatic win over Mexico earlier in the week, the Azzurre continued their impressive early form in the Cyprus Women's Cup with a 3-0 victory against Hungary - with Serturini getting the third and final goal 10 minutes into the second half.

After a mistake from the Hungary goalkeeper under pressure, the forward had the simplest of jobs to slide into the unguarded net.

Soon after the afternoon turned into one to remember for Bonfantini - as she came on as a substitute.

The youngster showed flashes in her 30 minutes of action, as the squad continue their preparations for this summer's Women's World Cup.

The two other Roma players in the squad, Rosalia Pipitone and Elisa Bartoli, were not involved.

With two wins from two, Italy are on the verge of the knockout rounds of the tournament. They currently top their group; and face Thailand in the final group game on Monday.
