After Roma’s thrashing of Fiorentina on Monday evening Mario Hermoso and Niccolo Pisilli were interviewed by Sky Sport.
Here’s what the two of them had to say:
Pisilli
You contributed a lot on the pitch today. It was a really well-rounded performance.
“I think as a team we played a great game - we approached it in the best possible way. We played well throughout the match and, unlike against Bologna, we kept our focus and played consistently until the very end.”
How likely are we to qualify for the Champions League?
“I don't know about our exact chances, but I know that if we play like this, we can get great results. Obviously, if we win our three remaining games, I think we’ve got a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League.”
Hermoso
Roma have only conceded one goal in the last four games. Is the team’s strong defence from the start of the season back?
“Yes, and we know it's our strength. Today we won 4-0. It was an important match and we're happy.”
How much do you believe that Roma can qualify for the Champions League?
“It’s really important for us to win games. We’ve got three games left of this season. We need to keep playing like this and focus on getting three points in the next few games. If we do that then qualification is possible.”
