    Totti, Amadei and Viani join Italian football Hall of Fame


    Francesco Totti has been named as one of the latest members of Italian football’s Hall of Fame.

    The Hall of Fame, created by the Italian Football Association (FIGC) in conjunction with the Italy’s Football Museum (Fondazione Museo del Calcio), has decided to recognise Totti’s incredible career achievements by inviting him to join a select group.

    In total Totti, who retired in May 2017, made 786 appearances for the Giallorossi – scoring 307 goals. He also won Serie A and the World Cup during his playing career.

    Among the other people inducted into the Hall this year included Amedeo Amadei – who represented Roma from 1937-1948 – and Gipo Viani, the coach who managed the Giallorossi for one season during his career, from 1951-52

    Other people inducted this year include Javier Zanetti and Massimiliano Allegri.
