Dzeko to host Roma's first ever Reddit AMA

Edin Dzeko will become the first Roma player to take part in a special ‘Ask Me Anything’ question-and-answer session on web forum Reddit later this week.

The Roma striker, the current top goalscorer in this season’s Champions League, will sit down after training on Thursday afternoon, to answer questions about, well, anything - as they are submitted by Reddit users and fans around the world.

Reddit AMAs have become a popular format on the social site for almost as long as it has been around, with the platform offering the opportunity to expose users to a range of life experiences, as everyone from celebrities to students field questions about their life, work, and interests.

Famous AMAs have previously been conducted with the likes of former US president Barack Obama, Tesla founder Elon Musk and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Roma also has a proud history with Reddit, having used the forum to crowd-source suggestions and user feedback when relaunching its website in 2015.

Dzeko, 32, is the first player ever to score 50 goals in three of Europe’s top five leagues – and has also scored more than 50 goals at international level for Bosnia & Herzegovina. He currently sits ninth in Roma’s all-time goalscoring charts.

He will be on Reddit on Thursday afternoon (approx 16.30 Italian time) to answer any questions fans might have about his many career exploits to date - and anything else fans might have to ask him about.
