After swapping shirts with Totti, the Real Madrid captain shared his delight on social media by posting a picture of the pair with their new memorabilia.
In his post, Ramos wrote: “A proud moment and an honour to have your shirt. #leggenda”
Describing how the shirt swap came about, Ramos explained that Totti came into the Real Madrid dressing room to ask the Los Merengues captain for his kit.
“I asked him for his too and he gave it to me. I'm going to put it in my museum. I'm honoured to have his shirt. I've always admired him because he's the business. He's an example to us all.”
"Totti deserves all the applause he gets,” Ramos added. “He's given so much to the game over so many years so it's right that the fans should express their admiration for him.”
Ramos also unveiled his signed shirt to waiting media.
