Roma players have posted their condolences following the death of boxing legend Muhammad Ali

Roma players Edin Dzeko, Miralem Pjanic, Umar Sadiq and Antonio Rudiger have posted their condolences following the death of boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

The only fighter to have won the world heavyweight title three times, along with the gold medal at the 1960 Rome Olympics, Ali died aged 74 on Saturday in Phoenix, AZ.

Beyond his sporting exploits, he was famous for championing civil rights and other humanitarian matters.

A host of stars from the world of sport have posted their memories of the boxer, including several Roma players. Dzeko, Pjanic, Rudiger and Sadiq all published tributes on their personal Twitter and Instagram accounts.
