Orsato to referee Roma's trip to Napoli

Orsati

Daniele Orsato will referee Roma's visit to Napoli, the standout encounter in the next round of Serie A fixtures on Saturday 15 October

It will be Orsato's 22nd time in charge of a Roma league game, the official previously overseeing nine wins, nine draws and three losses for the Giallorossi.

The first time he crossed paths with Roma was back in 2007-08, for a 2-0 defeat of Cagliari at home. The most recent occasion was the last time Saturday's contest was played, when Roma beat Napoli 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico on 25 April 2016 thanks to a Radja Nainggolan strike.

Orsato also officiated a match between these two teams on 18 October 2013, when Miralem Pjanic scored two to secure another Giallorossi home victory over the Azzurri.

Assistant referees Gianluca Cariolato and Mauro Tonolini, fourth official Marco Barbirati and additional assistants Paolo Tagliavento and Massimiliano Irrati complete the refereeing team for Saturday.

Kick-off at the Stadio San Paolo has been set for 15:00 CEST in Week 8 of Serie A 2016-17
